Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2024 Fall Cybersecurity Engineering Intern position at their Novi Tech Center located in Novi, MI. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments.
The Product Cybersecurity group is responsible for the development of Dana's embedded systems cybersecurity processes and platform solution to present in our control system solutions.
* Review Dana's security standards and identify any gaps in security mechanisms
* Perform Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment for project teams
* Support cybersecurity solution design and development
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the investigation of vulnerability reporting
* Assist in developing and updating incident response playbooks
Requirements
* Enrollment and active pursuit of a Bachelor or Mater of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Cybersecurity relevant experience (e.g., cybersecurity coursework, cybersecurity project, cybersecurity working experience) in any of the following areas preferred: security operations, SW security, HW security, systems security, security architecture, network security, communication security, cryptography, etc.
* Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills
* Full time availability
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Must be able to interface in a team environment
