Job Description

Summary

  • Position Summary
    • Supporting the organization's EPIC clinical and Access application support needs to include: Epic training of physicians and staff; development and implementation of a quality assurance process; maintaining application functionality within the MaineHealth model system and supporting end user needs by serving as the primary Epic application resource.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in fields of a healthcare related field is required.
    • License/Certifications: Epic Credential Trainer or other Epic clinical analytical certification required within 6 months of the hire date.
    • Experience: Experience in a healthcare related field required.

    • Knowledge of clinical practice workflow
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Epic system functionality, Microsoft Office and Windows applications
    • Ability to work effectively throughout the organization by establishing effective working relationships with all departments and levels of medical staff, hospital staff and physician practice administration
    • Ability to organize, plan and complete projects efficiently and in accordance with quality standards
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbal or written, with audiences of varying sizes and the ability to tailor communication to the target audience
    • Ability to travel throughout various locations in the organization
