Position Summary

Supporting the organization's EPIC clinical and Access application support needs to include: Epic training of physicians and staff; development and implementation of a quality assurance process; maintaining application functionality within the MaineHealth model system and supporting end user needs by serving as the primary Epic application resource.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
-
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in fields of a healthcare related field is required.

License/Certifications: Epic Credential Trainer or other Epic clinical analytical certification required within 6 months of the hire date.

Experience: Experience in a healthcare related field required.

Knowledge of clinical practice workflow

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Epic system functionality, Microsoft Office and Windows applications

Ability to work effectively throughout the organization by establishing effective working relationships with all departments and levels of medical staff, hospital staff and physician practice administration

Ability to organize, plan and complete projects efficiently and in accordance with quality standards

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbal or written, with audiences of varying sizes and the ability to tailor communication to the target audience

Ability to travel throughout various locations in the organization
