The Talent Acquisition Recruiter I (Sourcer) will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top talent for our organization. This role will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and proactively source candidates across various channels for a broad range of roles. Your goal will be to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure timely and successful placements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Candidate Sourcing - 40%

  • Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, networking, referrals) to identify potential candidates
  • Conduct proactive outreach to passive candidates and build relationships for future opportunities
  • Continuously explore new avenues and strategies for talent sourcing and engagement
  • Partner with recruiters, leaders, and associate networks to improve employee referrals, sourcing, and diverse representation in hiring

Screening and Assessment - 25%

  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications against job requirements
  • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate fit, interest, and availability
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific position requirements

Collaboration and Communication - 15%

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities
  • Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates and gathering feedback
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to recruitment strategy discussions
  • Represent the company at local networking and recruiting events and assist in the organization of career fairs or conferences
  • Create creative outreach campaigns on a variety of platforms, ensuring messaging and collateral is in line with organizational EVP
  • Promote our employer brand externally and employee referral program internally
  • Serve as backup support for administrative/new hire onboarding tasks

Pipeline Management - 10%

  • Maintain and expand a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensure timely follow-up and engagement with candidates to provide a positive candidate experience
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools to track candidate progress and interactions

Market Research - 10%

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market salary rates, and competitor insights
  • Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform sourcing strategies

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • May work on special projects or other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • Communicates with external candidates

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of related business experience, preferably in corporate recruiting/talent acquisition

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
