Job Description

Summary

This 40 bed, locked unit that provides a 24-hour treatment program provides care for adults ages 18-95 in acute psychiatric crisis. The multidisciplinary team treats individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and addiction related problems.

Position Highlights:

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the achievement of quality care and client outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu
  • Provide structure and emotional support to clients
  • Provide supportive care to clients as assigned by the registered nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain patient charts
  • Communicates effectively and positively with all internal and external customers.
  • Collaborates with internal and external providers to arrange for ordered services.
  • Accurately and timely computer entry and transcription of orders.
  • Assisting staff with a variety of tasks

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - "What you will need":

  • High School diploma preferred. Associates degree preferred.
  • CNA preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in human service preferred.
