Systems Engineering Co-op (Summer/Fall 2024)

As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and contribute towards developing complex cryogenic and vacuum systems for the semiconductor industry.

What we expect from you:

  • Help define new product architectures (system and subsystem level) and control algorithms
  • Help develop formal product / system requirements and contribute to engineering design reviews (DFMECAs)
  • Help develop custom automated test plans and/or setups for product testing and verification
  • Help author technical datasheets and other technical support material for new products
    • In pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Systems) with at least a 3.2 GPA
    • Experience (industrial or academic) in robotics, mechatronics, or complex electromechanical devices
    • Experience with or interest to gain knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Software)
    • Scripting and/or modeling experience (industrial or academic) with Matlab, Python or similar
    • Experience (industrial or academic) with DOE (design of experiments), hypothesis testing etc.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
